I am a certified teacher for the state of Texas. I have a B.A. from Midwestern State University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0. I studied vocal performance under Dr. Don Maxwell and piano performance under Dr. Ruth Morrow and have been involved in several opera workshops and competitions. I participated in both choir and band throughout jr. high and high school, regularly participating in U.I.L. solo and ensemble and making All-State Choir in voice. I also participated in Number Sense in high school.
I have been employed as a tutor by the Wichita Falls Independent School District as well as by Midwestern State University. I taught Choir at Wichita Christian High School and directed a homeschool choir for the Home Educators Around Texoma (HEAT), followed by a General Music class for homeschooled students from ages five to twelve. I have been tutoring math privately for the last eight years, and teaching music for the past five years.
